How to measure your head circumference:

1. Place a soft measuring tape just above the eyebrows, centered on the forehead.
2. Run it all the way around the head — making sure to include the back of the head at the level of the occipital protuberance (the most prominent point).
3. Read off the measurement: that is your head circumference.
   

No measuring tape at hand? Use a piece of string, a shoelace, or a belt. Wrap it around your head in the same way, then measure the length with a ruler.
